    Helena sat at her private table with Marie Rose uneasily, watching her eat with silent formality. Her eyes traveled downwards to the extravagant dish prepared for her by Marie Rose whose efforts to this point have been useless. Placing down her silverware, she couldn't put this off anymore.
    “Marie Rose...”
    “I was trained, Helena.” Marie Rose had anticipated this conversation for the entire rest of the day since their interrogation of Christie. “I could tell she was trouble from the get go, and then when I saw the sniper, I had to act.”
    Helena looked down to avoid the look Marie Rose may give her for asking, “was he the first person you ever killed?”
    “...No.” Marie Rose placed her hands on her lap and sat upright and formally, looking right at Helena and suppressing the guilt of watching Helena struggle with the truth.
